Shadow was definitely an epic conclusion to this beautiful Peter Pan retelling! The twists and turns of the story kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way. I could’ve totally read this in one day, but that wasn’t plausible for me. Lol. I really tried not to guess the ending, and I so enjoyed taking it one page at a time. The characters worked their way even more into my heart. I love how Kara brought depth to each one, including the “villains”. But here’s the catch, all the main characters have their dark side—their shadow—to face. And don’t we all? The message of this book really hit home for me, and this duology is definitely on my top faves list!
