Florence Day hasn’t been to her hometown in about a decade due to the fact that she was chased out of it for literally helping a .. Ghost ! Solve his own murder !!
But when some happens to a family member, she’s forced to go back there.
Meanwhile.. she’s past all the deadlines she needs to meet and failing miserably at the one thing she’s always known to do best!
Which is finish the novel she’s ghostwriting for a well-known romance author. The problem is: she doesn’t believe in Romance anymore, she believes romance is dead.
Until she meets the ghost of someone she knew shows her love jn way she’s never seen before.
The problem is.. he is actually dead .. so ?

Wow!
I haven’t read a book this fast in quite a while!
Literally all I wanted to do is cuddle up in my bed or comfy couch and read ALL DAY LONG!
Mind you I haven’t even been in the mood to read at all lately!
But this book!! And Ashley’s writing.. ugghh!
It’s just so poetic and charming and heartfelt!
I cried, I laughed, I enjoyed this book so freaking much!
The story is nothing like anything I’ve ever read, it’s different in every good way possible.
And Ashley’s writing is always able to transport me into the book itself, I can actually picture every part of the book.
I Will say though; I kind of expected the ended in a sort of hopeful way and I’m glad I was correct 🤭
