i was worried for this one, partly because i generally don't deal well with series (i'm getting better though), but mostly because i couldn't see a way the trilogy could be wrapped up well in one book. thankfully, my worries were unjustified and i enjoyed the ending! i adore breq so bad, and i loved seeing how breq's role and character changed over the course of the books.
aside from the ending, i was kind of bored during the book and i'm not sure why. i loved the first two books (with a particular soft spot for the first one of course), so i genuinely have no idea what it was about this one that didn't work for me as well. i am writing this a week later, and i've barely read anything since, so i'm guessing i was already partway into a slump when i started this book. i'm hoping to reread this at some point in the distant future so i can figure out my issues. i just didn't feel immersed in the book and the plot issues needing to be resolved. i'm so sad over this, you have no idea.
