The Ballad of Old Joe Booth by William Pauley III

fast-paced

3.25

I love that, while I never know what the heck to expect within the pages of William Pauley III's stories, I am always guaranteed a very particular combination of bizarre imagery, mood and entertainment. You will always KNOW when you're reading one of their stories the style is so beautiful and unique.

This one is very short compared to others in this series but don't let that fool you it may be short but it is mighty! Atmospheric, creepy and darkly imaginative. I had a little more trouble following along with the narrative of this one- it sort of read like a fever dream in the best kind of way-This one will haunt me.
