One of Us Is Next by Karen M. McManus
5.0
The funny thing with sequels of books I like is that they are either better or worse than the first. And if I liked the first so much, I wonder if the sequel can match my expectations.
This was SUCH an amazing book.
I was initially disappointed when I found out that we weren't going to see from the perspective of our original four, but our new(ish) protagonists are fantastic. I did feel like the stakes were still very high and it unnerved me and put me on edge like a great mystery should. I had to have someone in the room with me so I wasn't alone while reading the last hundred pages.
I am so excited for the final book in the series and the second season of the show. This is fantastic.
Now excuse me while I purchase all of McManus's books.
