Because I enjoyed the movies so much, I decided it was high time to actually read through the books. I understand the book was aimed for a much younger audience and in that I believe it succeeds. That said, even as a 33-year-old, I couldn't help but keep pushing into the next chapter because I wanted to see how something from a previous chapter would prove important. I feel like the movie tracked the book pretty much 100% but I imagine as the books get bigger that more details will emerge that never made it to the silver screen and that will make my enjoyment of the series grow.
