Keigo Higashino always delivers truly complex and psychologically driven mysteries and Silent Parade is not exception. When a young girl is found murdered, her suspected killer refuses to confess and escapes justice. Soon after, he is found mysteriously dead and Chief Inspector Kusanagi turns to brilliant physics professor Manabu Yakawa, known as Detective Galileo, for help.

I adored this book, as I have with every book I have read by Higashino. Just when you think the mystery is obvious, it takes so many unexpected turns. The characters are also complex, each coming alive more than your average mystery novel. I just wish more of Higashino's novels were translated into English, because I suck at reading Japanese.
