“You see the good in people, Ellie. You trust. That’s a good way to be, a brave way. I’ll watch more closely from now on; I’ll make sure this never happens again. You just be who you are. Leave the rest to me.”
She wipes her eyes dry. “So it’s like a … you jump, I jump, Jack and Rose kind of thing?”
“No.” I take her hand in mine, brushing my thumb against her knuckles. “You jump … and I’ll be there to catch you.”

To say I was excited to read this book is an understatement. I have adored this series from book one and I've loved Emma Chase's books ever since I read 'Tangled'. So, of course I had to read this one!

Ever since the first book in the series 'Royally Screwed' I could see from a mile away that there was something between Logan St. James and Ellie Hammond. And if I saw it, I was sure they felt it. This book spans a number of years, from the months of when they were first really getting to know each other to years later when the attraction became too much to ignore. It was definitely a slow burn that was perfectly paced. Though at times I would yell at my book "KISS ALREADY!" I never once felt bored while reading all the moments leading up to these two finally getting together. It had everything I've come to expect from a Emma Chase book: swoon worthy romance, humor, and a lot of heart. Logan and Ellie slowly but surely fell for each other and I inevitably fell for them. It was impossible not to, they're just perfect together!

Another thing besides the amazingness of Logan and Ellie was seeing the previous couples from the series getting their moments to shine. We get a little bit of everyone: Nicholas and Olivia, Henry and Sarah, even Simon and Franny! But I have to say those Henry and Sarah moments we got were just something else. Maybe I'm biased because they're my favorites, but I couldn't help smiling like an idiot whenever they showed up in the story. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, OKAY. DON'T JUDGE ME. :P

The only complaint I can really give is two small things. I wish we'd seen more of a resolution with Logan's family. I wish there was some way he and them could rebuild things. But I guess I can understand a lost cause when I see one. And truthfully if they never change then Logan doesn't need them in his life. The other small issue I had was that I wish we'd seen more of when Logan and Ellie had first met. The story starts when Logan has to stay back in New York to keep an eye on Ellie and help run her family's bakery while Nick and Olivia are off to Wessco for the summer. I know they met before that and I wish we could've seen it. I don't remember if we saw it in book one, but either way I would've enjoyed seeing their POVs of it.

Regardless of all that though, this still was an amazing read. This whole series is freakin' fantastic! I would highly recommend to everybody to give it a go!

(P.S. Emma Chase if you're reading this I REALLY hope the series isn't over. After that epilogue, I think that Tommy Sullivan deserves a happy ending of his own. Maybe with Marlow? *wink wink*)
