“You’re good at that.”“At what?” I ask, distracted. “Fake kissing.” I hum. Nothing about that felt fake.

It's been a while since I had read anything by the author and I had forgotten how much I loved their work before but this book bought back all the fun that came with reading a Christina Lauren book! I must say that I loved Anna so much! She may have been quirky and unserious but she was quite funny and strong. The way she always lifted up Liam's spirit and wanted him to stand up for himself was admirable. Liam was a great guy, he really adored Anna and also wanted to give her the support that was very much needed. While his way was wrong, his intention wasn't. The chemistry between these two was absolutely amazing! They were practically strangers in the beginning and I was left to think how will they ever truly get to know each other because both of them were poles apart and came from entirely different worlds but the build up of their relationship was perfect! The side characters were really interesting, some were entirely bad while some were grey so I couldn't really hate them. [ But I loved that Liam's father faced serious consequences because of his actions and while I was loving Liam's brother Jake in the beginning, when he said that Liam has to comply to his father's demands regardless of the fact that he knew that Liam did not want to join the company, I felt so disappointed. I was rooting for him to be a good siblings but honestly I did not expect that from him because him and Liam seemed pretty close compared to the other siblings. The other brother, Alex was the most insufferable one but when I got to know more about him, all I could feel was sympathy. So while he exposed them towards the end, after a while I could not really hold grudges against him. And Liam's mother was another karen. She got away with saying so many mean things but still she wasn't as despicable as Liam's father was. (hide spoiler)] I liked Blaire and Reegan the most out of all of them. Other than that, I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. It was fun, entertaining, romantic and filled with family drama (the enjoyable kind). I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next because I'm a big fan of their writing!
