“having your shit together is not a prerequisite for falling in love”
this was a very good debut novel! i loved the quintessential NYC setting, the golden retriever MMC, & the way the story handled the topics of depression & grief.
what i didn’t love was the pacing- i felt like the plot was moving quick when the characters were going on their first date but then stalled until about the last 50 pages where it went wayyyy too quick.
overall a fun, light read good for summer days!
