Cross Her Heart by Sarah Pinborough

Really enjoyed this. I think it makes you really look into yourself as a person. Could you be friends with a child killer, let alone a killer to your brother? Can past mistakes be forgiven? In my mind no, but having the itching feeling she wasn’t in fact the killer may me more empathetic towards her. Wish we given more romance because why give us Simon but only for him to fills the holes that would otherwise be empty. Could of made it out to be that Lisa and Marilyn just find peace as friends with each other with history of physical trauma, no need for Simon.
