"There is a tugging one feels on their heart as the moonlit shadows grow each night. A great cosmic toll ringing out, warning all of humankind to light their fires and tuck their children tightly into bed. There is a reason humans have always feared the dark."

It is no secret that I love Wonder Woman and Greek mythology a lot. Hecate in particular, is one my favorite goddesses to ever grace the literature, with her mysterious powers and three bad-ass aspects at the moonlit cross roads, guarded by her dogs.
So, the reason follows that I could not miss this issue that brings together my two favorites. Now, was it a bad idea to jump into this issue without having read any of the previous issues in the collection? Possibly. Did I regret it? Not even a little bit.

Batman realizing I did not read any of the previous issues and hence have no idea what is going on
Batman realizing I actually have no idea what is going on in the story.

With cameos from Batman, Man-bat, Swamp Thing, Circe, and Detective Chimp (I swear I am not making this up), this was an exciting adventure filled to the brim with magic, mythology and kick-ass artwork.
