A fun and quick read with some interesting metatextual design appropriate for the genre. While Yokomizo over-explains some aspects, particularly those relating to the genre of locked room mysteries, they are germane to the story. I did enjoy how each chapter encouraged me to stop at the end and puzzle for a moment, constantly updating my ideas of whodunit, why they did it, and how the murders were executed. It wraps up well, even if the ending isn't exactly a shocking one.
