The Maid by Nita Prose

3.0

Going into this book, I enjoyed it and thought it would be an easy five stars. As the book progressed, the characters did not. They all seemed very stereotypical, which also lead me to having zero connection to them. The ending also wasn’t what I would have preferred.

I will say in the beginning, I thought the author did a great job at making me think everyone could possibly be the killer. I was questioning everything. The ending just fell flat for me.

The way charlotte stepped in, no questions asked, was a good thing for Molly’s sake but also a little too convenient. There were other parts in the book that felt the same way as well.

I enjoyed the book, the first half better than then later. I’m giving it three stars.
