The thing I appreciated most about this book was the breadth: the wide variety of ADD "archetypes" discussed, but especially some less common presentations. The combinations of ADD and other neurodivergences that can result in atypical expression.

The health issues that can *result* from "pushing through" ADD for much of your life.

Parts of this book haven't aged well, but overall it's really useful and well put together. Definitely seek out the later edition (2006 vs 1993), which has additional content and commentary.

I also appreciated their frequent invitations to skip around the book and take breaks
