Death Comes to Pemberley
by P.D. James
I liked the idea of this book more than I liked the book itself. Not enough of anything to keep my interest. Read it because it was a book group selection but I thought the plot was lame, the mystery superficial, the resolution unsatisfying. I did think the characters of Elizabeth and Darcy were close to Austen's. This book had little of the charm or wit that makes Austen's books a pleasure to read.
