The Brothers Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
3.75
adventurous challenging mysterious slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Loveable characters: Yes

Out of the inheritance games series, this was my least favourite because the story felt very stop start. Just as I was getting into the book, it changed direction.

This book is written in two perspectives, but each person is telling a different story, in two different places. In some ways it would have been nice yt have all of Grayson's chapters together and then all of Jamieson's chapters together.

I found it annoying to have to keep flipping back several chapters to remind myself where their chapters finished to continue with the story.

I definitely enjoyed Jamison's story more, but it was nice to read Grayson's story too. It left still some unanswered questions. Which hopefully the next books (the grandest game) will uncover and answer.
