Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

2.0

The lesser of Hazelwood's books. I wish it was better but the misunderstandings carry on for far, far,far too long, galaxies away too far. There are points where the MC Bee tries to be a super intersectional feminist but it comes off as all talk or poorly timed. The action and surprise bad guy are poorly plotted and come out of no where to be stopped as quickly as we learnt about them killing all suspense. The least fun of Hazelwood's books but the deepest, longest loves from a main character that is kind of concerning rather than uber romantic. Everyone in this hook is either 1 incredibly lonely or 2 a very angry/terrible person...hope the Author is doing okay her other books seem so sweet. I wish this had been more charming like the other Ali Hazelwood books I have read.
