The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides

3.0

It is a beautifully written, creepy and sad story. The naive narration of the teenage boy from outside makes the book very unsettling. Following the unreliable narration makes you wonder what else is hidden from our eyes.
However in the end the book didn't quite catch me. I probably should read it again in a few years, maybe I'll find more meaning and references that I didn't understand this time... or maybe I just didn't like this classic and I'll move on to other books...
