Sera and Daddy Nyktos are just *chefs kiss*. I could not wait to get my hands on this book and it did not disappoint. I love their banter and the tension between each other. The world building was done well in this book and it didn’t distract from the story. I liked all the twists and turns and all the new side characters that we got to meet. But that ending!? I literally yelled “are you kidding me?!” when I read the last page. I could have read 600 more pages of this book and I would not have been mad. I am so ready for book 3!
