Trickster's Choice
by Tamora Pierce
4.5 Stars
I love this series. Tamora Pierce single-handedly shaped my love of fantasy novels from an early age, and even though I was older when this book came out, it didn't matter. I love all the references to my favorite fictional characters, and I find the political turmoil she's built in the Copper Isles to be extremely interesting. Honestly, some readers find Aly problematic, and while I understand why, I think this book is worth it simply for reading about the struggle between the raka and the luarin. It has 4.5 only because a. Aly is Aly (I might also find her a little problematic at times), and b. I love Trickster's Queen like no other, and it's the book in this duo that truly deserves 5 stars.
