Another enjoyable read from Abby Jimenez. While all of her books have a heavy component, I would say this is one of the heavier ones. There is a lot of detailed description of what daily like is like when carrying for a family member with dementia. It also briefly touches on animal abuse/death. There is human death. There is also a lot of financial stress discussion which is something most people deal with.
It was still hopeful. It exposed forgiveness and human imperfection and impossible choices.
It does follow the romance HEA.
