A Crown of Swords by Robert Jordan

For me, this book suffers from the same problems the previous entry did. Too slow in the beginning, followed by an actually good latter chunk. Everyone's adventures in Ebou Dar were entertaining as all hell, especially Mat's, but it's all bookended by large sections where nothing seems to be going on. And then Rand seems to just decide to take out one of the Forsaken like it was something he was putting off rather than something we were building towards. I'm still invested in the series, but if the real slog is still to come, I'm worried I'll just end up dragging my feet to the finish line.
