Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
Too academic for a book to read in my free time. Also, I lacked any previous knowledge about Claudia Jones or her writings which made the book very difficult to follow and left me with the impression that a lot of content and points made were repeated.
Which is too bad bc her life seems actually very interesting and this bok's inteoduction presents it as some rediscovery of Claudia Jones so I originally thouht the lack of knowledge wouldn't be a problem. But I would probably be better off reading something akin to a biography about her which incorporated her politics and their evolutions through her life.
