I was hesitant to read this book when I read so many reviews stating that this book was highly overrated and that it’s everything she has said in her interviews over the years. It’s false. Yes, she has included some of her personal anecdotes and experiences that she has previously shared on tv but the nuances of her emotions were not heard or seen on tv, definitely not by me.
I believe, a lot of people were disappointed because they were expecting something that could be gossiped about and involved names and incidents that could possibly create controversies furthering gossips which, fortunately, didn’t happen. Instead she let her guard down a little and exposed her minimal vulnerabilities, as much as she felt comfortable sharing it with everyone.
I’ll recommend this book ONLY to people who don’t just like celebrities because they are celebrities but because they can either relate to or be inspired by or feel both with the celebrities of their liking.
