With tension building on every page, I could not put Silvercloak down. Saffron is a wicked smart mage hell bent on avenging her parents death at the hands of the Bloodmoons. She spends her whole life studying to join the Silvercloaks and take the Bloodmoons down, only to be sent deep undercover in the heart of their den. The fantasy world is deeply rooted in the magic system of the world fueled by pleasure and pain - the history, the systems, and the lack of heteronormative relationships - and is delicious and dark to uncover. The morally grey characters of Romantasy’s past walked so Silvercloak could run.
