I loved this one just as much the second time around, and remain confident in my assertion this one should be read first. Also Sarah if you disagreed why do the acknowledgements to this one say “I hope you’ll enjoy seeing where [Celaena’s] adventures take her in Throne of Glass”?! Hm? I rest my case.

It took me over a decade to get to this series and it was absolutely worth the wait. A hill I will happily die on is that you need to read this one FIRST. It comes first in the box set! The promo poster literally says the journey BEGAN WITH A BLADE.
