I was more impressed than I expected, honestly. The writing was more stilted than I prefer, but the plot was pretty well executed. I liked the Slug "who is he now" red herring, and the slow reveal of the killer was suitably late in the book, if INCREDIBLY irritating because I couldn't wait to figure it out. Which I suppose is how it should be :P Also, the amount lacking in telling the police incensed me; so many women died over this, more even than Tom knew probably, and now with that ending? HOW MANY MORE?! What if they have a daughter?!?!?! UPSET. So, good story, but incredibly dense regarding involving the police, selflessness, communication, and LETTING KILLERS GO ARGH
Moderate: Gore, Physical abuse, Violence, Stalking
