I loved this story. Do not go into this expecting a resolution. Things are not resolved for Kingston and Jazz in this book, but at the end of the trilogy, I'm sure they will be. Kingston and Jazz explore that fine line between love and hate where we know there are secrets in both of their families and we get to watch some of them unfold (and the rest will unfold in future books).
I thought Jazz was a great character. She was strong-willed and unwilling to bend to her father's (or anyone's) whims. She comes from a different life than she was thrown into and is so different than most of the other people who are now in her life. Most of the other characters in this book are pretty terrible. Kingston is terrible to Jazz, but at the same time, he does some sweet things to help her out too.
This book does end on a cliffhanger, but I am lucky that the others are already out, so I can go right into them!
Read if you like: bully romance, hate to something, best friends brother, vendettas
