Meiko Kawakami writes in such a way that just makes you feel like you're feeling what she's describing almost physically as you're reading. She knows how to use the best and most beautiful words to describe things. This was a sweet yet sad read, covering adolescent love, loss, and infatuation. A solid 3.5 ⭐️ read. I'd definitely like to read more of her books.
