Women of the Republic: Intellect and Ideology in Revolutionary America by Linda K. Kerber

5.0

I actually ended up using this book as a major secondary source for my Master's dissertation. Kerber's book is filled with so much interesting and fascinating history that most students are never taught in school. She has clearly done her research and, while this book can be used as a textbook, it is just as worthwhile to read as an interesting piece of nonfiction history.
