Never a dull moment with this book— the action?? the imperfect characters!! It felt like reading a TRILOGY in one book... but it actually made sense in a way??
I'm just sad that there's something about the writing that felt off to me. Don't get me started on the info dump-y move at the beginning and the heavy-handed foreshadowing.
But you know what? I STILL MOVED. Look, it doesn't have to be well-written for you to enjoy it, right? We're out here vibin'!
Also, I would never accept a Violet Sorrengail slander in this house!
Trust me, I KNOW what some of you are saying to her as the series progresses (it's too popular that I actually got spoiled up until book 3! But look, I'm still here. . . I finished a book that I knew the start and the end because I'm too attached to Violet. Maybe I'm her third dragon with how I bonded to her!)
