At the Stroke of Midnight is my second RomCom novel I have read this summer and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
The Naughty Princess Club series is a 3 book series that features Cindy, Belle and Ariel. These three were my most favorite princesses from growing up. They are not the sweet innocent princesses I remember though. This time there is a naughty little twist to their stories. These three princesses are broke, they have hit rock bottom and they are ready for something more. The first book follows Cindy's story. On Halloween the three girls decided to dress up as their favorite princesses (bet you can't guess who?) and a neighbor asked them to perform at a party in those specific outfits because it pays very well. As the girls prepped themselves and got ready for a "little girls birthday party", they were in for a treat. It was in deed a 32 year old man's birthday party and they were hired as strippers. After being mortified this sparked some great business ideas and the girls decided to open up their own stripping business. The Naughty Princess Club.
This book had me laughing uncontrollably at times. Between the names of the chapters (ex. I tripped and fell on his penis), the story and the characters it was hard to not completely laugh out loud. At the Stroke of Midnight was so enjoyable that I found myself reading many paragraphs that got me giggling out loud to my husband who would in turn just shake his head and say, "What are you reading!?"
I definitely want to join The Naughty Princess Club!
The second book to the series is 'In Bed With the Beast' and the last book is called 'Kiss the Girl'. I have just started on Belle's story and I am highly recommending this series!
