Harbinger Volume 2: Renegades by Joshua Dysart, Joshua D. M. Dysart

3.0

A good read and follow up to the previous volume, the only drawback is the inconsistency of the art. I'd rather a flowing same style art, for me it kinda ruins the narrative, come to think of it comicbooks is part visual storytelling, not only you read the text but look at the sequential art paired with it. I am impressed at the characterization of the supporting characters, (if Peter Stanchek is the lone protagonist), esp the character Faith, there is this one panel of the group in the last issue where Faith was floating in the corner of the room crossed legged snuggling/holding the bag tight. I also like her personality, even though it felt one dimensional at times (I've learned another thing when it comes to characterization in comicbooks)

I am looking forward to the next volume, which is the Harbinger Wars storyline. Hope the artwork is consistent, hate to see Kris's eyeglasses change every issue.
