Culture Clash: The Making of Gay Sensibility by Michael Bronski

3.5

An interesting and well-researched discussion of how gay culture has shaped The Culture at large. Not my favorite work of gender or sexuality theory, but Bronski does a great job of tying a bunch of seemingly disparate threads together. The book mostly focuses on the experiences of gay men rather than the entire community, which I found to be an odd choice, but not one that ruined the book for me.
