This started out as a really fun horror novel. An extremely engaging set up and EXTREME body horror- but it had a campy B horror movie vibe to it.
It was exactly what I was looking for...
Then it quickly became hateful dialogue slut shaming the women of the story, an unnecessary orgy, with very inconsistent characters, and the most predictable "twist" I've read in a long time.
I'd say I don't really want to read from this author again, as the tone really turned me off, but I sadly bought a second book at the same time as this one- so I guess I need to give him another shot.
