The Dixon Rule by Elle Kennedy

4.5

I really liked the Off-campus & Briar U series, but Elle Kennedy really nails everything in the Campus Diaries series. The slightly toxic feeling some of the old main characters used to give me is gone, and I love this updated feel.

There are so many great characters in this book. Of course I loved Diana & Shane, their chemistry was amazing, I LOVED their bickering, their humor, and their support of each other. We get those cameos we are looking for from the previous books/series and the side characters are perfect. Will has my whole heart. I loved Shane's sister (girls in STEM ❤️). Also Blake (I can't wait for her book). I know Percy is a fake character, but boyyyy, don't let me catch him on the street. I have never hated a character so much. UGH.

Lets talk SPICE!🥵 🌶️ She WENT there. I loved seeing a little bit of kink representation that was more than just a bossy man. And I am begging to get a Poly book ft. Will. please please please.

This book was almost perfect . . .  except. Why is Diana in a cheerleading uniform on the cover? She is dancing way more than she is cheering in the book! Also, the sad stuff at like 85%? I think it was written really well, but it kind of came out of nowhere. I wish it all happened throughout the book, not just at the end.
