I feel like this book did a fantastic job setting up the complicated plot and setting. There are layers upon layers upon layers of classic sci fi themes like colonization, equality, and what it means to be “human”. Breq is the coolest character around. I feel like the ending slowed down for me a bit but I can’t wait to pick up the second book. Easily one of my faves of all time.
