This book is a treasure for anyone who loves fairy tales infused with intense and magical romance. The author does a fantastic job with this new series, building on characters we already know—characters who, since the very first book, have intrigued us deeply.

This new saga finally reveals what happens behind Jonathon and Muriel’s doors—or, more accurately, inside Rapunzel's tower. It also introduces us to new princes, whom I’m thrilled to follow in the upcoming books (I have some strong suspicions about who the final couple might be, and I can’t wait!).

As for the main storyline, the romance between the protagonists is pure obsession, but in the best possible way. Their love is so intense that, while it occasionally feels unrealistic, it fits perfectly with their personalities and the fairy-tale world they inhabit. What makes it even more special is how self-aware the characters are—they recognize the complexities and surreal nature of their situation, which adds a refreshing layer of depth.

I also loved seeing characters from the first series finally learning the thruth about Jonathon, who was always a mystery throughout their books.

That said, I would recommend checking the content warnings, as there are brief mentions of heavy topics. Personally, I wish these themes had been explored a bit further to better understand Jonathon’s past.

In conclusion, if you love intense, magical romances with a fairy-tale twist, this book is for you. I can’t recommend it enough (just like everything this author writes)!

thank you so much to the author for sending an arc of the book, work ruined my schedule but the review is finally here, honest as always. I can't wait to read the next book.
