Braxton and Dakota have to be my favourite couple in this series.

The way they meet, the banter, Braxton's patience, the incredibly supportive friend group, the emotional maturity, and people owning up to their mistakes: it was such a fun romance to read.

I really appreciated that the squabbles that they had didn't get dragged out. They both have insecurities that stem from distorted relationships with parents, and the author has done a great job in showing how that can show up in romantic relationships while also developing the characters in such a way that shows them growing emotionally and taking ownership of their own behaviour. This is honestly one of my favourite hockey romance series.
