A beautiful story of unfailing, destined love. Reckless Kiss is a story for the ages, a relevant story of our time, and a love story for everyone.
Love doesn't matter that your family has an ancient feud.
Love doesn't matter that your skin is a different color.
Love doesn't matter that you belong to different social classes.
The phrase "Love is Blind" exists for these very reasons. Love only looks at the person in front of you and doesn't see the social, economical, religious, or numerous other obstacles in that could potentially stand in your way of being together.
Angel and Deacon fell in love at the age of fifteen and there was no looking back either of them. No distance, or family, or basically anything seemed to stand in their way, until a very old family feud came to light and Angel's brother basically forbade her from ever seeing Deacon again. This couple never turns on each other, but they have to fight every outside force to keep their love alive.
Deacon won't let anything stand in his way of making Angel his wife so he goes digging into an almost a century old hunt to find answers to what started this feud, while Angel spends her time in the present building a bridge between their families. They make you believe in love unlike any couple before.
The love these two have for one another never wavers, no matter who or what tries to rip them apart. Your heart will swell with so much emotion. Tia Louise knows how to write a great book, but Reckless Kiss is one of my favorites!
