The Virgin Romance Novelist by Meghan Quinn
4.0

*I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

Rosie Bloom has led an exceedingly sheltered life but is desperate to become a real writer. Currently she writes for a Cat Magazine she has no interest in whilst writing her novel on the side. The only hitch in her plan is she is desperate to write a romance novel, being a true romantic at heart, but has zero experience.

With the help of her two best friends, who are also her flat mates, she comes up with a plan to remedy the situation. Thus ensues a series of cringe worthy, laugh out loud funny events as things dont quite go so smoothly in her attempt to gain experience and research her book.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when i started this, but quite soon i was laughing my head off. There were times when i was physically hiding behind my hands, peeking through my fingers to carry on reading, not quite able to believe the situation Rosie had got herself in to this time. Throughout the story i was thoroughly entertained and although the situations, were mad, cringe worthy and almost unbelievable, they weren't beyond the realms of possibility.

I will definitely be checking out more books by this author if this is her usual standard, I loved it.
