I had such a good feeling about this book and it was honestly so perfect! It was sweet and wholesome and funny! And full of so much love and heartache and vulnerability. It was written SO well and i honestly will never be over this book. 

This strangers to reluctant friends (really just on Ava’s side) to lovers situation was so perfect. Ava and Finn’s banter was TOP TIER. Literally laugh out loud funny throughout the entire book. And everything else was balanced so well. I loved seeing Josie and Ava’s friendship, and Julien and Finn’s friendship. And Max and Ava make my heart so happy, I LOVED seeing them bond and clear the air.

Ava is the girl of my dreams. The GRUMPIEST girl who quietly carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. I love her literally so much. Her sarcasm and her sass!! She has such a soft heart with so much armor protecting it and I LOVED watching Finn slowly but surely make his way in! AND FINLAY O’CALLAGHAN IS THAT MAN! The sweetest golden retriever puppy there ever was!! He was also a secret sad boy, which is truthfully my favorite kind of boy. I love him so much. And I LOVE them together so much. Their slow burn was DELICIOUS and so necessary. Watching Finn falling over himself because of how quickly he was falling over Ava made my heart ACHE. I also loved seeing Ava trying to convince herself it was the heat, or the drinks, or whatever that was making her feel some type of way and NOT her FEELINGS for Finn.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series. I think it’s going to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL just like this one!
