When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare
3.0
2023 Reread
Found myself dubious again Dare could pull it off but found myself loving this one more than previous reads; while Logan was cold, his journey / their relationship felt more real but perhaps that is just virtue of knowing the HEA at the end.
November Reread
Reread it and it still struck me as a bit mean and sad at the start; Logan is just cold and unkind, and our heroine's romantic feelings for him were really unearned.
Initial Thoughts
I did not love this one as much as I anticipated! I really did not feel Logan as a romantic lead, and his resentment/anger/blackmail that opened up the relationship bothered me. (To be fair, enemies to lovers is always dicey for me.)
