Singlehandedly the darkest book I've ever read. I was compelled by the main character and the fact women in this book could be so unapologetically evil and dark. I do think a lot of the darkness was established for shock value more than anything (Amma in particular didn't make much sense to me) but overall an incredibly compelling and hauntingly cruel read. It's got serious bite to it, that's for sure.
