More like 3.5 but it's surprisingly not as great as I expected Sherlock Holmes' debut to be. The middle 30% is pretty slow which made me not like it as much as the other Sherlock Holmes' books I've read. The good part is that the reader can see perfectly how it evolved into what Sherlock came to be from the remaining 60% of the book. This last point would be the main reason for me to recommend it to someone.
