An easy reading experience with parts enjoyable and dragging. The twists and turns are unpredictable even if 70% through the book, it still felt like it was still building up. Stakes (revenge, career advancement) are low, which is why the tensions are kept muted. But still a worth-it read all the same for fans of thrillers. Just don’t expect an edge-of-your-seat plot.
Moderate: Rape and Domestic abuse
