I GAVE THIS 5 AWESOME STARS!!!
Believe me, I was crying when I finished the book. I was crying, not because it ended tragically but because the ending was satisfyingly good. After everything that all these characters went through from book 1 to book 3, thank god that they have found a semblance of peace (for now, as I wouldn't really trust it). The last few chapters were so intense. There we so many twists and turns. I was seriously fooled by you Pierce! I WAS FOOLED BY ALL OF THE CHARACTERS!!!
I was panicking the entire time, I swear. Most of the scenes gave me a fcking heart attack. Especially scenes with Sevro! Geddemit. KILL EVERYONE PIERCE BUT NOT SEVRO. YOU DON'T HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO DO THAT AND YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME WHEN I THOUGHT THAT HE WAS DEAD. TWICE!! THAT WAS TWICE!!! DAMN.
Also, I was surprised by Mustang and Darrow having a son. I knew from spoilers that they will have a child named Pax but I didn't know that the kid is already somewhere alive hiding in some part of the universe while everyone is busy fighting the war.
There were so many trilogy/series that are so good but have disappointed me with bringing a not so good ending. I don't want to drop titles but there are a LOT. But I could say that The Red Rising trilogy is by far one of the most that have ended greatly.
