Flight 171
by Amy Christine Parker
Amy packs this story with gore, horror, and supernatural elements that are perfect for spooky season.
I don’t want to give too much away because you should definitely go in blind, but think Final Destination. And just like Final Destination this book will scar you for airplanes lol.
It’s so impressive how the plane is the main settings but it never feels boring or dragged out. And I learned new things about airplanes that I didn’t know, which was cool.
I also loved the themes discussion throughout. Amy really makes you think about what makes you human, What makes someone a good or bad person, who’s deserving to live or die. These are all questions that the characters have to asked themselves. Also how do you come to terms with your regrets when you can’t ask for forgiveness. It was really insightful and touching to go through all of these tough questions and decisions.
I loved this book and that ENDING!!!
PS. This would be a great horror movie!
