Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors. She writes captivating stories that tackle difficult and controversial topics. However, with each book I find myself frustrated by the amount of main characters she tries to develop. Due to the quantity of characters, I find myself not satisfied with having an understanding of them. This book started off slow for me, and I had to re-start it multiple times. However, the story line picks up drastically in section two and from that point on had me captivated. Overall, I thought the storyline was creative and I did enjoy her characters.
